What Others Say

Adventurers who found their alignment.

Marcus Discovered Lawful Good

I've been playing D&D for years but never knew my real alignment. Turns out I'm Lawful Good — my dungeon master said it explains everything about my playstyle!

Sarah Discovered Chaotic Neutral

Chaotic Neutral. That explains why I can never stick to a plan. My friends all laughed and said 'we could have told you that.' The career suggestions were surprisingly accurate too.

Alex Discovered True Neutral

True Neutral wasn't what I expected, but reading the description made so much sense. The real-world famous examples helped me understand it better — I share an alignment with some fascinating people.

Jamie Discovered Neutral Good

I showed this to my D&D group and we all took it. Now we know why our party dynamics work the way they do — we're a mix of LG, NG, and CG! Best pre-session icebreaker ever.

What is your true alignment?

In the world of Dungeons & Dragons, every character has an alignment — a moral and ethical compass that shapes their choices. Answer 12 questions about real-world dilemmas to discover which of the 9 alignments truly fits you.

How the test works

You'll answer 12 multiple-choice questions divided into two axes: the Moral axis (Good vs. Evil) and the Order axis (Lawful vs. Chaotic). Each answer is scored, and your total scores map to one of 9 alignments on the classic 3×3 grid.

What your result means

Your result places you in one of 9 alignment categories: Lawful Good, Neutral Good, Chaotic Good, Lawful Neutral, True Neutral, Chaotic Neutral, Lawful Evil, Neutral Evil, or Chaotic Evil. Each alignment comes with a detailed description, suggested D&D classes, and famous fictional examples.

Share and compare

You can generate a shareable result poster featuring your alignment on the alignment grid. Share it with friends on social media, compare your alignments, or download it as a keepsake.

Is this test based on actual D&D rules?

This test is inspired by the classic Dungeons & Dragons alignment system but is an unofficial fan creation. It's designed for entertainment and self-reflection purposes, not as an official D&D product.

How accurate is the result?

Like any personality quiz, the accuracy depends on how honestly you answer. The questions are designed to measure your natural inclinations toward order vs. chaos and good vs. evil. Take it multiple times to see if your result is consistent.

Can I retake the test?

Yes. You can retake the test as many times as you like. Your previous result will be saved locally so you can view it later or compare with a new result.

How is alignment calculated?

Each of the 12 questions has three options with different score values. The 6 moral-axis questions determine your Good/Evil position (-100 to +100), and the 6 order-axis questions determine your Lawful/Chaotic position (-100 to +100). These two coordinates map to a specific cell on the 3×3 alignment grid.

How does the scoring work?

12 questions across two axes: 6 moral axis questions determine your Good-Evil position, 6 order axis questions determine your Lawful-Chaotic position. Scores are weighted and mapped to the 3×3 alignment grid. Your final alignment is the highest-scoring cell.
