What learners say.

Emily Intermediate · 2,400 characters

I've been studying Chinese for 3 years but never knew how many characters I actually knew. This test gave me a clear benchmark.

Wei Heritage speaker · 4,800 characters

As a heritage speaker, I was curious where I stood. The adaptive difficulty made it challenging even for me at the higher levels.

James Beginner · 800 characters

Started learning 6 months ago. The test was motivating — I could see exactly which level I'm at and what to aim for next.

Yuki Advanced · 3,500 characters

The adaptive algorithm worked well. Questions got harder when I was doing well and easier when I struggled. Felt really personalized.
